Liquid Sky Lacquer: Beach Party Collection- Swatches & Review

Hey guys! I have another awesome summer collection to show you! This collection is by Liquid Sky Lacquer. Liquid Sky Lacquer is one of my favorite indie brands, Carolyn never disappoints with her beautiful, high quality polishes. I don't have the whole Beach Party Collection, but I do have an extra goodie that Carolyn sent me called It's My Party. Check out the swatches below!

The Beach Party Collection, along with It's My Party and a few other polishes will be released/restocked Saturday, May 31st at 2 PM PST, just click here to purchase. The Beach Party Collection consists of 9 new polishes, from neons to nudes, all with a nice holographic touch. The formula was flawless on all of the polishes I'm reviewing today, I only used two coats on each.

Turn Up. This is a lime green linear holographic polish. This is my favorite out of the Beach Party Collection. It's so bright! And the holo is actually really strong. I'd say this is a true neon, and the formula was flawless. You definetly need to get at least this one from the collection.

Taken in the sun.

Beach Bonfire. This is an orange linear holographic polish. I'm so glad there's an orange holographic polish in this collection because I don't have many. I love it!

Sizzle. This is a bright orange leaning red linear holographic polish. This was so incredibly hard to photograph. I couldn't get a color accurate picture and the bright red was making it such a hassle to capture the holo. I promise you the holo in this is really strong IRL!

Strawberry Mojito. This is also a red linear holographic polish but slightly darker and not as bright as Sizzle. It's still beautiful though. I totally recommend this to someone who wants a bright polish but not in your face bright.

What Was Your Name Again? This is a bright neon pink linear holographic polish. This is definetly my second favorite from the collection. It's so bright! In case you haven't noticed, I love neons! Again, I swear the holo is so strong in this polish but the brightness of it made it really hard to capture the holo.

Did You Get His Numer? This a slightly dark violet purple linear holographic polish. This does have a bit of a frost finish, or shimmer finish. It doesn't have any brushtrokes though so yay!

Taken outdoors, not color accurate but I wanted to show you guys the holo

Lost My Top. This is a nude linear holographic polish with white frost throughout it. I think this is so unique. I'm usually not a fan of frost polishes, but I think the holo helps a lot. Plus, the formula was great cause you can't see any brushstrokes.

It's My Party. This is a silver linear holographic with multi colored glitters in different sizes. This is so pretty! So unique! I love it. I honestly hae seen anything like it. It's crazy that no one else has thought about this. The formula and application was great. And I was able to catch a lot of glitters on my brush. It does have larger yellow and green dots, but I wasn't able to grab those with my brush.

Taken outdoors, love the holo in this!

And here's some nail art I did using most of the Beach Party Collection.

China Glaze:Off Shore- Dune Our Thing, Summer 2014 Collection Part 1- Swatches, Review, & Nail Art

Hey guys! Today, I have another summer collection, this time by the long awaited China Glaze Off Shore collection. To be honest, I've been looking forward for this collection since I saw the press releases for it. It's just so colorful, I love it!

The whole Off Shore collection consists of 12 new polishes, some cremes, some jellies. But it's split up into two smaller collections and today I'm swatching the Dune Our Thing half. This half of the collection consists of 6 polishes in pinks, purples, and blues. This collection should be available now.

Feel The Breeze. 3 coats. This is a light pink creme. It's still bright on your nails. This is so cute! It's very girly and soft enough so it's not so in your face, but bright enough to not be boring. The formula was pretty great, though this was the only polish in this half of the collection that I needed three coats for.

Float On. 2 coats. This is a bright bubblegum pink creme. I really like this one too! It's bright but not enough to be a neon. The formula was pretty awesome too.

Dune Our Thing. 2 coats. This is a bright raspberry creme with purple undertones. It's so pretty! It honestly didn't really call my attention all that much at first but once I put it on my nails, I really liked it. The formula was amazing as well.

X-Ta-Sea. 2 coats. This is a deep eggplant purple jelly/creme. I love it! I'm a fan of purples, so I was looking forward for this one. The formula is great! It's a jelly and a creme at the same time, I don't know how to explain it, but it's awesome.

I Sea The Point. 2 coats. This is a bright cobalt blue jelly/creme. I don't know how many of these blues I have but I love them! I never get tired of cobalt blues, they're just so pretty! A lot of people had problems with the formula but it was pretty good for me. It does dry matte, but it wasn't streaky at all.

I had some trouble capturing this blue accurately because it's bright but it also has some dustiness to it. You guys just have to see it in person.

Wait N' Sea. 2 coats. This is a blue leaning teal creme/jelly. Again, this one wasn't all that unique to me but when I put it on, I really liked it! Plus, the formula was amazing!

And here's the nail art I did using all of the polishes from this half except Feel The Breeze. I was inspired by @deanne29

And then I layered an awesome glitter topper by Laquerlicious called One Fine Day. I love this combination! You can purchase it by clicking here

Overall, I was really impressed by this half of the collection, though two of the polishes were pink, well three if you include Dune Our Thing. Though the polishes aren't all that unique when you see them, they're pretty awesome on your nails. I totally recommend this whole collection to someone that is just starting out with their polish collection because it's basically a rainbow!

What did you guys think of this collection?

Dolly Polish: Monthly Limited Edition Polish, Aca-Awkward: Swatches, Review, & Nail Art

Hey guys! I hope you all had a great Memorial Day Weekend! Today, I have a quick post for you, so I made sure to include some nail art. I was so excited when Dolly from Dollish Polish asked me to swatch for her cause she has some pretty awesome polishes. I have her new monthly limited edition shade to share with you guys. check out the swatches below!

This month's shade is called Aca-Awkward, inspired by Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect and it's being released Friday, May 30th. This shade is so pretty! Aca-Awkward is a beautiful lilac/magenta scattered holo. It's such a lovely shade of pink/purple! It's bright, nut not too bright and the holo is a nice touch. The formula was amazing, I only used 3 coats.

Since this is a limited edition polish, there's only going to be 150 bottles which each have been numbered. I mean, how could you not want this polish!?

And here's some nail art that I did which was inspired by @nails_by_me_jessiev which was inspired by @sloteazzy. I love the simplicity that Jessie did in her mani So I knew I had to try it!

I know my leopard print isn't the best, I really haven't done one in a while. I still kinda like it though! I hope you guys do too.

Remember, you guys can purchase Aca-Awkward on Friday, May 30th along with her Ultimate Fandom Collection which is A-mazing(swatches here). Just click here for the Dollish Polish storefront. You can follow Dollish Polish on Facebook, Instagramtwitter, and even Youtube!

Alchemy Laquers: Alchemical Imaginarium Water Fae Collection- Swatches & Review

Hey guys! I have another awesome collection to show you today. Rebecca from Alchemy Lacquers has done it again and made an amazing collection! I am honestly blow away by this brand every time they release a new collection, and I'm not just saying that cause I swatch for Alchemy Lacquers. I love the fact that thought it's summer, Rebecca is releasing a really unique collection and not your typical neons (though you gotta have some neons too lol). Check out the swatches below!

So this collection consists of 4 polishes, a multi chrome linear holo, a duo chrome jelly, and two cremes. This collection is being released Wednesday, May 28th at 8 pm est.

Kelpie Seaweed. 3 coats. This is a multichrome linear holo polish that transitions from brown to green to violet. I wasn't able to capture the violet on my nails all that much but I was able to capture it in a bottle shot:

The green transition is very strong on your nails so no worries! I absolutely love this! The linear holo is so strong and the multi chrome effect is amazing! The formula and application was amazing!

I was able to capture the violet a bit on the edges of my nails here, I took this shot outside in the sun.

Nixie Tears. 3 coats. This is a turquoise jelly with iridescent glitters and a blue, purple, and pink multi chrome. I love this one too. This is probably my favorite one out of the collection. It just reminds me of mermaids. I wore this for a few days and I just kept staring at my nails! The formula is kinda of sheer but it builds up nicely.

Selkie Fur. 3 coats. This is a dark gray creme with gray flakies, scattered holo, and dark purple and blue micro glitters. I wasn't able to capture the awesomeness of this polish. It's so pretty in real life! The formula and application was great too.

Naiad Of The Spring. 3 coats. This is a bright blue creme with turquoise micro glitter and sparks of red, green, blue, and turquoise. This is so pretty! This has some scattered holo through out and the blue is just radiant! The formula and application was amazing as well.

Overall, I am really blown away with this collection. The polishes are so unique and creative! I totally recommend it. Again, this collection is being released Wednesday, May 28th at 8 pm est.

And I don't know if you guys remember my previous swatches for Alchemy Lacquers ( you can see them here) but I swatched a polish called Elixir No. 4. It was a beautiful sheer multi chrome polish and in my post I had mentioned that I didn't have anything like it so Rebecca sent me a full size bottle of that and I love it! Thanks Rebecca! Today I have Elixir No. 5 to show you guys which has a similar effect to Elixir No.4 so its amazing!

Elixir No. 5 I used 4 coats for this polish because it is kind of sheer, but it built up nicely. It has a semi nude base with a pink shimmer through out and gold, blue, and pink/purple micro glitter. It's amazing! I don't know how Rebecca comes up with these! lol I sure wouldn't be able to. I totally recommend this polish!

This is the most I could get it wihtout the pink showing to show what the base looks like.

And a semi close up.
