Two Gypsies Nail Lacquer: Spring Collection 2014- Swatches & Review

Hey guys! I just have a quick post today! Two Gypsies Nail Lacquer is going to be releasing their new Spring Collection on April 4th so I have a couple of polishes from the collection to show you!

The first time I swatched for Two Gypsies Lacquer, I was honestly blown away by their glitter combinations and polish quality. They were so pretty and unique. And I was not disappointed this time around either. I love spring collections for the bright colors and pastels, but one of these polishes is just not your typical spring shade and that's what I like about it. On to the swatches!

Secret Garden. 3 coats. This is a forest green jelly with glitters in different shapes and sizes in pink, lavender, green, mint, gold, turquoise. There is so much glitter in this polish, it's crazy. No need to fish out any glitter. I love these types of colors. I guess you either love this or hate it (but I can't see how you can hate this lol) There's so much depth in this, it's just gorgeous.

Semi macro shot
And I just had to add a matte coat over this, and just like I thought, It was awesome!

Tide Pools. 3 coats, This is a blue jelly with gold, blue and green glitters and white stars. This is also just packed with glitter! I did have to use 2 coats of top coat to smooth it out, but it wasn't too difficult. Some of the glitters in this are really interesting. It has these dark blue hexes that makes me think of the ocean, I don't know, they're just really cool.

And mattied.

Big Spoon Lacquer: Childhood Wonderment- Swatches & Review

Hey guys! I have another post today, this time, from Big Spoon Lacquer. She made an awesome collection called Childhood Wonderment which is inspired by various Pixar movies and the life lessons they teach. I love Disney, so I was so excited when I received this collection! This collection will be released April 1st.

Who doesn't love Disney, seriously?! Their movies are awesome! Especially because of the lessons they teach. Sure some messages are kind of iffy, but most of them are about friendship. And lately, they try to teach kids to be unique which is great. Pauline, from Big Spoon Lacquers, was able to capture all of that in her new collection, with the colors and the names of her polishes. They're just so cute!

Eye On You. 3 coats. This is a radiant green with green shimmer and scattered holo. This polish is inspired by Monster's University. This polish is so pretty! This shade of green is really nice and the holo is really strong , I couldn't stop staring at my nails.

Going Against The Grass. 3 coats. The name of this polish is perfect! This really does look like grass and because that's what A Bug's Life was all about! This is a green jelly with green shimmer and light green holographic bars. The formula and application was great!

I decided to do some simple A Bug's Life nail art, don't know if this is a fail or a win( inspired by Beautystar1009)

Friendship Beyond Infinity. 3 coats. This is a white crelly polish with purple squares, black and lime green hexes. This one is so cute and is obviously inspired by Toy Story. The formula and application was great, no need to fish the glitters out.

Dynamite Girl. 3 coats. This is a deep red/fuschia jelly with gold holographic hexes and scattered holographic micro glitter. This polish is inspired by Wreck It Ralph. I love red polishes like this. The glitter combinationis so pretty and theres's so much depth in this because it's a jelly. The formula and application was perfect.

Slightly different color but you can see the glitters better.

Here's some more nailart I tried to do. They're supposed to be candies. (inspired by Nancy MC Nails)

And here's a bottle shot.

Dream Big. 3 coats. This is a dark grey jelly with aqua, fuschia, and gold mico glitter. This polish is inspired by Ratatouille. Such a perfect name for this polish. At first the polish is a little sheer, but it bulds up very nicely. I love this honestly. The formula and application was perfect.

Love's Adventure. 4 coats. This is a sheer blue jelly with yellow, purple, blue, and green hexes in different sizes and large red squares. This polish is inspired by Up, one of my favorite Pixar movies! That song gets to me every time! lol This is the perfect name for the perfect polish, it's so fun and cute. And I like the fact that it's a jelly because it adds a lot of depth.

And I decided to do some nail art:

These two polishes are a duo and are inspired by Finding Nemo. They are so cute together!

Discover The Destination. 3 coats. This is a sheer red/orange jelly with a slight red shimmer. It's a bit sheer but you can get full coverage with about 4 coats. The formula and application was fine.

Embrace The Journey. 1 coat. This is a black and white glitter topper. This goes perfect over Discover The Destination and this totally represents Nemo. Plus, glitter toppers are my favorite so I'm glad to be adding this to my collection. The formula and application was perfect, no need to fish any glitter out!

Not color accurate, it's not as red.

Remember, this collection is being released April 1st! You can purchase these from Big Spoon Lacquer's storefront by clicking here. You can get more updates by following Big Spoon Lacquers on BSL blogFacebook and Instagram

The Sword. 3 coats. This is a dark red jelly with small gold/bronze hexes. Though it's a jelly, you get great coverage in just 3 coats, especially because it's packed with glitter. Love it. Formula and application was great.

The Diadem. 3 coats. This is a cobalt blue polish with a mixture of jelly and creme base with black hexes, and holographic silver hexes in different sizes. This polish represents the house of Ravenclaw and the lost Diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw. I love this shade of blue. I could have just done two coats, but I decided to do three. This is also packed with glitter, no need to fish it out! Formula and application was great.

The Locket. 3 coats. This is a forest green creme with black hexes and silver holographic hexes in different sizes. This polish represents the house of Slytherin and the locket of Salazar Slytherin. This shade of green is very pretty. The formula and application was great.

The Cup. 3 coats. This is a yellow creme with black hexes and squares, black bars, and micro holographic glitters. This polish represents the house of Hufflepuff and the cup of Helga Hufflepuff. Yellows are always a drag to apply, but not this one! Even with all that glitter! It went on smoothly and didn't stain my nails at all. Perfect formula and application
