Twinsie Tuesday: Match Your Nails To Your Car

Hey guys! It's Tuesday again and you know what that means right?! That's right, Twinsie Tuesday! This week, the theme is matching your nails to your car. Check out all the details down below.

Today's post will be short and sweet. My car is a white Toyota Matrix, that my brother gifted to me actually. Yeah, he's amazing. I didn't really know how to match my nails to my car other then swatching a white polish, so that's what I did!

I wore Bio Seaweed Gel in Snow White. I wore 3 coats. Love this brand because it's super easy to use!

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer: Random Swatch Spam!

Happy Sunday guys! I hope everyone is having a great day! I have some more Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer swatches to show you! They're a few random polishes from different collections that BEGL has released in the past. I know you guys aren't tired of more BEGL, I mean, how could you!? They're so pretty! Check out all the details below.

I was originally going to post these yesterday but I wasn't too pleased with the swatches because some of them are holos and for some reason, the weather has been really cloudy over here in Los Angeles. I mean, it even rained yesterday! I really wanted to show off that holo so I waited for today because the news had fore casted a sunny sky! And I'm so happy that the sun did end up shining today. Let's get to the swatches shall we?

The first two polishes are part of the Doctor Who, IT Got Away From Me, Yeah... Collection. This collection is big! There are currently 13 different polishes to choose from up in BEGl's shop

Just Admiring Your Skills, Sweetie is a purple creme with a purple to pink shimmer shift inspired by River Song. I wore 3 coats with a top coat. The shimmer can actually be easily seen on your nails as well as in the bottle but I just couldn't capture it. The formula and application was great, it went on really smoothly.

Mickey Smith. Defending The Earth. is a hunter green linear holo with gunmetal flakies inspired by Mickey Smith. I wore 2 coats. OMG, I love this green! It's so pigmented (but doesn't stain your nails), and the holo is so strong! Greens are my weakness and I'm so happy to be adding this to my collection. Beautiful formula by the way.

The next polish is part of the Spark In The Dark Collection which was released this past January.

Never Danced Like This Before is a navy blue linear holo creme with teal shimmers. I wore 2 coats with top coat. I mean, can you seriously go wrong with a navy blue holo? I don't think so. the formula was good, a pit patchy on the first coat but it evened out with the second.

The next polish is part of the Far From The Sun Collection which was released last year for BEGL's summer collection. Each polish in that collection are inspired by lyrics from songs from The Shins (Love their music BTW!).

Dawn Breaks is a red linear creme with gold and purple shimmer. It was inspired by 'New Slang'. I wore 2 coats with topcoat. The holo is pretty strong but I couldn't capture it's full intensity. Lovin this red! Great formula!

And last but not least is Watch The Walls, which was part of a glitter summer trio released last summer. It is a clear base glitter topper with blue/pink/purple shifting shimmer, predominantly neon pink, hot orange, and watermelon glitters with accents of neon yellow, neon blue, neon green, holo blue, holo purple, and holo red. It includes large red dots, hot pink butterflies, and tiny orange stars. I wore 2 thin coats over Just Admiring Your Skills, Sweetie. I love how cute the glitter combo is, especially the pops of green. I flipped the bottle over for a few minutes before applying for easier application. Side note, Watch The Walls is on sale right now! Grab it while you still can.

I'd say my favorite of these are Mickey Smith. Defending The Earth. and Watch The Walls. I'm a sucker for glitter and greens. You can purchase all of these right now at Blue Eyed Girl's shop. Make sure to follow Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer on InstagramFacebookTwitter, and Pinterest. You can even follow the creator of BEGL, Julie, through her blog!

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer and Ellagee: Sand & Surf Duo

Yay! It's Friday! I'm so excited for this weekend. It's 6th year anniversary with my boyfriend and I'm excited to see what are plans are. For sure Disneyland, because duh... I can't believe it's been 6 years! Time flies! It would be awesome to go on vacation somewhere. Speaking of vacation, today I have an awesome duo by two indie brands, Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer (whose polishes I swatched before) and Ellagee. Check out all the details below!

Contents in the box
The Sand & Surf duo will be available this Sunday, April 26th at 3 PM CST. Because it's a limited edition duo, there will only be 25 sets in each storefront, so either Ellagee or Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer. The duo consists of 2 full size polishes, a magnet, and a sheet with 10 shell water decals, al for the price of only $20, and that includes shipping!

The Sand & Surf duo is the first installment in the upcoming duo collaboration between Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer and Ellagee, with each duo being inspired by a vacation photo. This duo was inspired by a photo Ellagee took of Sandcastles while on vacation in Destin, Florida.

Ellagee Rhythm Of The Surf is a turquoise jelly with shades of blue, white, and iridescent glitter. I wore 4 coats with top coat for the pictures below. This was pretty sheer but it builds up nicely. Plus, look how squishy it looks! So pretty!

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer Shimmering Sandcastles is an ivory/light nude creme with green microflakes and shimmers in aqua, silver, blue, and gold. I wore 3 coats with topcoat. This one is so pretty and girly, I wish it looked better on me though. Light shades like this always make my cuticles look really dark. It definitely reminds me of shimmering sand though. The formula and application was great! I had no issues with it.

Overall, I'm really loving this duo! I can't wait to use the decals! I know the perfect occasion. The duo is being released this Sunday, April 26th at 3 PM CST in both shops, Ellagee and Blue Eyed Lacquer. Each polish is exclusive to the box so once they're gone, they're gone!

Alchemy Lacquers: Infinity Collection - Swatches & Review

Hey guys! Happy Thursday! I'm so glad the week is almost over. This week has been hectic, just lots and lots of swatching. My cuticles are so dry, but good thing it's only my right hand. Anyways, today I have some gorgeous polishes to show you inspired by the Soul Gems (Infinity Stones) from the Marvel comic books! I know you guys have been missing some Alchemy Lacquers, I know I have. Check out all the swatches down below.

This time, Rebecca has made this gorgeous Marvel comics inspired collection, just in time for the Avengers: Age of Ultron. The collection consists of six rainbow hued linear holo flakie chromes. They have a bit of  flakies, holo, glitter, and a multichrome finish. They're so unique, trust me, you need them! They're being released today, at 8 PM EST.

Ruby Of Power is a red jelly with a red to orange shift, with red flakies, holo, and flakies that shift from yellow to green, to blue, to fuchsia. I wore 3 coats with a top coat. The holo in this is actually pretty strong and I love these flakies! The formula and application was great.

Spessartite Of Time is a burnt orange jelly with a yellow to orange shift. I'm trying to describe each one but it's so hard with all the different colored flakies and shimmers lol, just take a look instead. I wore 3 coats, no top coat. Perfect formula and application.

Citron Of Reality is a yellow jelly with a yellow to gold shift. I wore 3 coats with top coat. Surprisingly, this is one of my favorite ones! I love how the multichrome flakies go so well with the base. I'm not a huge of yellow but this is so unique, definitely a must have!

Emerald Of Soul is a green jelly with a green to blue to purple shift and multichrome flakies that shift from blue to yellow to green. I wore 3 coats with topcoat. Of course, another one that I will be reaching for regularly. Green is my weakness lol. Perfect formula BTW.

Sapphire Of Mind is a blue jelly that shifts from blue to purple. It also has blue, purple, and red glitters as well as multichrome flakies that shift from yellow to orange. I wore 3 coats with top coat. Great formula!

Amethyst Of Space is a purple jelly with multichrome flakies that shift from fuchsia to orange to yellow. I wore 3 coats with topcoat. This is hands down my favorite one! I just love the flakies in there! Even my mom asked me for a mani using this color. The formula and application was perfect.

Overall, I'm really loving this collection! I thought it was really unique. Rebecca really pulled out all the stops with each polish! It's being released today at 8 PM EST. Make sure to follow Alchemy Lacquers on Facebook and Instagram.

Twinsie Tuesday: Watercolor Nails

Hey guys! Happy Tuesday! I hope your week started off great! Because it's Tuesday, I have another Twinsie Tuesday post! I missed last week's because I was sick. But this week's theme is awesome! This week's theme is Watercolor Nails! Check out what I did down below.

I'm glad this was the theme for this week! I've never done watercolor nails so I was pretty excited for this. I was scared it was going to be hard, but it totally wasn't! I still need to work on my technique a bit, but I'm pretty pleased. I wanted something super bright so I used Orly's new summer collection, Adrenaline.
I did two blobs of each color on each nail. I really like how colorful it looks!

It's super easy to do! Just put a blob of polish on a piece of aluminum foil, and add nail polish remover to your brush and just keep diluting it to however sheer you want it to be.

I hope you guys like what I did! Make sure to check out what the rest of the girls did using the links below.

Ever After Polish: Back To The Future Spring Collection- Swatches & Review

Hey guys! How is everyone's week going so far? I hope great! I got a little sick on Monday, but thankfully it went away quickly because I'm feeling a lot better now. Today, I have a new brand (to me at least) called Ever After Polish. I had actually heard awesome things of Ever After and have seen some really gorgeous polishes so I was super excited to try these out! And I mean, a Back To The Future collection? You can't go wrong with that!

The Back To The Future Collection will be released this Friday, April 10th, at Ever After Polish's storefront. This collection consists of 7 new shades ranging from cremes to jellies. It's perfect for spring, and even summer with some of these neons! Let's get to the swatches!

Great Scott! is a bright blue crelly. I used 3 coats. This one isn't a full on creme, it's bit sheer but totally buildable. It went on super smoothly and it dries to a matte finish. It's really beautiful.

10/21/15 is a highlighter yellow crelly. I used 3 coats. This has the same formula and finish as Great Scott! I love how bright this is! Just think 'highlighter' and you'll know what I mean.

Hoverboard is a bright neon pink creme. I used 3 coats. This one definitely is a creme. OMG, the formula was just amazing! It went on so smooth and it's so bright! I love it!

McFly is a coral creme with a subtle holo. I wore 2 coats with top coat. This is such a pretty shade of coral! I love it! It definitely does need top coat because it has a matte finish. It's super pigmented and went on so smoothly! No staining though (:

Enchantment Under The Sea is a forest green jelly with iridescent flakies throughout. I wore 3 coats. This one is pretty sheer but it's so pretty! It totally captures the name so perfectly!

Plutonium is a pearly white sheer iridescent glitter topper. It can be worn alone, or over any polish. I wore 3 coats with a top coat and no undies.

The Delorean is a cool grey jelly with purple, royal blue, fuchsia, and gold hexes in different sizes, along with holo dust throughout. I wore 3 coats with a top coat. This one is definitely my favorite from the collection. I just love the glitter combo! And that holo dust is a nice touch. The formula and application was great!

Overall, I'm extremely impressed by Ever After Polish. The formula on each of these was amazing! I've seen a few other polishes made by Ever After Polish and really liked them, especially the recent Easter duo! I definitely recommend purchasing this collection, or any Ever After polish. You need then in your life! LOL

You can purchase the Back To The Future Collection tomorrow, Friday April 10th at Ever After's storefront. Make sure to follow Ever After on Instagram and Facebook for updates.
