Leesha's Lacquer: Pop Art Collection

Hey guys! It's almost the weekend! Yay! I've been dying to go to Disney, it's been a while. So I might do that but it depends on the weather. It's been very hot over here in SoCal. Anyways, today I have an awesome collection to show you by Leesha's Lacquer called Pop Art! Check out the details below.

The new Pop Art Collection consists of 3 white crellies and 2 gorgeous glitter toppers. The collection is being released this Sunday, August 30th over at Leesha's Lacquer's shop. Swatches below!

First up is Marvellous, a green and purple glitter topper full of matte and holo hexes. I wore 2 thin coats over KB Shimmer Hugs and Wishes, topped with a top coat.

The formula and application was great. I was able to grab a lot of glitter on the brush for an even coat. I love this one! It kind of reminds me of the Little Mermaid lol.

Wham! is white crelly filled with blue, pink, pastel purple, light pastel blue, and pastel green glitters in different shapes and sizes. I wore 3 thin coats, topped with a topcoat.

I really like the glitter combo in this. The formula and application was great. It was really easy to use.

Prim & Primary is a white crelly with primary colored glitters in different shapes and sizes. I wore 3 thin coats topped with a topcoat.

I loved this one! It's definitely my favorite from the collection. It's just filled with all these glitters but the formula and application was great. No issues!

Indie Genesis is an off-white crelly with linear holo and multichrome flakies in various colors. I wore 3 thin coats, topped with a top coat.

This is for sure my second favorite. You can never get tired of these multichrome flakies. Especially when they're in such a simple base where they can really pop. The formula and application was great!

Sun Shot

Complimentary Complementary is a teal and orange glitter topper in a clear base. I wore 2 thin coats over OPI I Sao Paulo Over There, topped with a top coat.

Another great glitter topper! The formula and application was great.

Overall, I really enjoyed the Pop Art collection by Leesha's Lacquer. There's some really pretty polishes in here that you guys should definitely try! The Pop Art collection is being released this Sunday, August 30th. You can purchase them here

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer: Siren's Pet Monster

Hey guys! Just a quick post here!Today I have Blue Eyed Girl's new surprise release Siren polish, check out all the details below!

So Julie has lots of stuff going on this month. She released a new collection called Leave the Sun Behind me, which you can find swatches of here. She also released a surprise Siren yesterday that's gorgeous! Check out swatches of it here. And today, she released yet another Siren polish called Siren's Pet Monster.

Siren's Pet Monster is a hot pink with neon pink/blue shifting microflakies. I wore 2 coats with a coat of topcoat.

This is such a beautiful shade. The flakies are really visible IRL. Much more then the picture. The brightness of the pink was very overwhelming for my camera so I couldn't capture it all. It's a bit less red and more pink then it's showing in the picture above. Great formula and application.

This is very different from Rubby and Siren Fatale. I have all 3 and can tell that Rubby is way lighter and Siren Fatale is a bit brighter, more of a neon pink. This is available to the Blue Eyed Girl Facebook group for the first 24 hours. You can request to join here. Links to purchase and follow Blue Eyed Lacquer are available below.

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer: Leave the Sun Behind Me Collection plus Siren's Mint Smash

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a great weekend! It's been a while since I posted. I'm sorry! The Twinsie Tuesday girls went on a break for the month of August, but we'll be back soon. I will be posting about it shortly. But first, let's talk about this awesome collection Julie from Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer is releasing tomorrow! It's so bright and fun, check out all the details below.

This collection is inspired by the film the Darjeeling Limited and it consists of 6 gorgeous neon shades. One of them is limited edition, though because of the flakies used. This collection, along with the new Siren polish is being released tomorrow at 3:30 EST at BEGL's shop.

Limited Edition 40/41 is described as a neon teal with cobalt Nfu Oh style flakies. This will be a one time run polish as the flakies Julie used are now discontinued. I used 2 coats with a coat of topcoat.

I'm loving these flakies! It really sucks that they're no longer available. The formula and application was great, no issues! Make sure to get this one because it won't be restocked!

Thanks For Using Me is described as a neon green with a gold to green to blue shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats with a topcoat.

If only all neons had this amazing formula. It went on really smoothly. Loving the shimmer in this. So pretty!

Look at These @#$holes is described as a fluorescent red with pink shimmering glass flecks. This polish is sensitive to light so make sure to store it in a dark, cool place. I wore 2 coats with a coat of topcoat.

This came out a bit more red then it really is. It's more of a coral red, in my opinion. Love it!

Stop Involving Me! is described as a neon yellow with copper shimmers and gold glass flecks. I wore 2 coats with a coat of topcoat.

It was hard to capture the shimmer in this, it's really pretty! Great formula and application.

It's In the Itinerary is described as a neon purple jelly with blue to magenta to teal to gold ultrachrome flakies. I wore 2 coats with a coat of topcoat.

This polish is definitely unique to my collection. I can never get enough of these ultrachrome flakies. Formula and application was great.

Rubby is described as a neon pink with purple shimmers and a strong purple shift. I wore 2 coats with a coat of topcoat.

I loved this one so much! The shimmer is very strong on the nail. Plus the formula and application was so smooth!

Siren's Mint Smash is described as a mint green jelly with gold to green to blue shifting glass flecks. I wore 2 coats with a coat of topcoat.

You guys need this siren! I really love it! The shade of mint is really pretty. Of course, the formula and application was flawless.

Overall, I really enjoyed this collection. I know we're getting close to fall but I'm still really into neons. I always lean towards brighter colors, so these definitely didn't disappoint! These will be available tomorrow at 3:30 EST over at Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer's shop

Which one is your favorite?

Addicted To Holos: August Box 2015

Hey guys! So this post was supposed to be up 2 days ago but my computer decided to stop working. It's pretty old actually, so time to start looking for a new one! I have to use my brother's computer for now. Anyways, today, I have the new Addicted To Holos indie box for August 2015. It is gorgeous, check out all the swatches down below.

I'm sure most of you have heard of this amazing indie box! But in case you didn't here all the details:
    • It's bi-monthly, so it's only released every 2 months.
    • It features five awesome brands, including Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer, Literary Lacquers, Philly Loves Lacquer, The Polish Bar, and Sweet Heart Polish
    • It is an all holo box. Can it seriously get anymore perfect than that?!
    • It cost $60 USD plus shipping (open to both domestic US addresses and international addresses as well)
    • It's only available for purchase as a pre-order. The pre-order window is open for one week, so plenty of time to get those orders in!
The new August 2015 box will be available for pre-order starting Monday, August 8th to Monday, August 17th. You can purchase it here. Now onto the swatches!

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer Heat Lightning is a described as a steel grey linear holo with pink and royal blue glass flecks. I wore 2 coats.

Julie never disappoints with the formula and application of her polishes. They always go on so smoothly! I'm not a huge fan of greys, but I loved this one. And I'm not just saying that! I literally don't have anything like this in my collection.

Literary Lacquers Can't Work By Lime Light is described as an electric lime mega green linear holo, inspired by the poem Lime Light by Kay Ryan. I wore 3 coats.

This is definitely a favorite of mine from the box. It's not a in-your-face lime, but it's definitely bright. I reeealllyyy like this one. So gorgeous. Great formula and application too!

Philly Loves Lacquer Fallen Ember is described as a brownish red holo filled with purple and blue flecks. I wore 3 coats with a topcoat.

Sun Shot
This is such pretty deep red. I really like what Philly Loves Lacquer was going for here, but the formula and application was pretty thick and difficult to work with. Try doing thin coats for easier application.

Sun Shot

Indoor Lighting

The Polish Bar Surf Blue is described as a light aqua linear holographic with a slight golden sheen. I wore 3 coats.

What a lovely shade of blue! Great formula and application too!

Sun Shot

Sweet Heart Polish Hot August Nights is described as a true green linear holo with gold and green micro glitters. I wore 3 coats.

The title of this polish perfectly describes SoCal right now. It is so hot, you gotta have the ac running all night! It's brutal. So I'll just ignore the title and stare at the pretty polish. I'm a sucker for greens, but even if you're not, you're gonna like this one. It's really beautiful. Great formula and application.

Overall, I really enjoyed this box. Everyone did a great job with each of their creations. I'm sure you'll enjoy it too. The new August 2015 box will be available for pre-order starting Monday, August 8th to Monday, August 17th. Purchase it by clicking here.
