Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer: Destination Duo Feat. Literary Lacquers Plus new Siren!

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a great Friday! I have another post for you guys today. This time, I'll be showing you some Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer polishes, including a new addition to the Siren series ad a new Destination Duo! Check out all the info down below!

I love these Destination Duos that Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer creates! I have reviewed a few of them before. But in case you're new to them, each month, BEGL teams up with a different indie brand and they each come up with a polish inspired by a picture taken on a trip by one of the makers. This month's picture was taken by Julie from BEGL( great picture by the way Julie!) while she was spending some time at St. George's Island in Florida.

For this month, each duo will come with two polishes and a set of 10 waterslide decals of tropical drinks! They will be available at both shops (BEGL and Literary Lacquers) for $25 shipped domestically and $22 plus shipping for international customers. They are available for purchase now so make sure to get them before they sell out!

Literary Lacquers Gulf Coast Twilight is described as a soft dusky twilight purple linear holo with iridescent gold flakies and a touch of orange shimmer. I wore 3 coats.

I really love the flakies in there! Definitely makes this unique. Great formula and application

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer Happy Hour at the Blue Parrot is described as a medium sunny orange jelly with purple and copper shimmers. I wore 3 coats plus topcoat.

I LOVE this! The shimmers really come through on your nail. It was a bit sheer for a BEGL polish, but it built up nicely.

And here is a close up of the cute decals included in the duo.

Overall, I really like this month's Destination Duo! They both made fantastic polishes, each with great formula and application.

This month's new Siren polish is gawgeous! I'm telling you, you'll love it!

Siren Channels the 80s is a neon/fluorescent green crelly packed with silver holo, gold holo, lime holo, and rainbow iridescent microglitters. I wore 2 coats plus topcoat.

I fell in love with this the second I put it on my nail. I think a lot of people are always scared of how neons are going to apply. But have no fear! This one went on so smoothly with 2 easy coats. My camera was thrown off with so much green so I couldn't capture are the glitters in there, so sorry about that!

The new Destination Duo and Siren polish are available now! Get them before they're gone because they're limited editions! Which one did you like?

Envy Lacquer: Rock Candy Collection

Hey guys! I'm pretty excited! My parents are finally returning from their trip to Mexico! I've missed them a lot so I'm glad they'll be back soon. Today, I have Envy Lacquer's new Rock Candy Collection which will be available August 1st! Check out all the info down below!

The Rock Candy Collection consists of 2 trios, a Brights trio and a Neutral trio. Both sets will be available at Envy Lacquer's shop this Saturday, August 1st! I really enjoyed this collection so let's get onto the swatches!

The Brights Trio

Blueberry Blizzard is a blue teal jelly filled with holo shards and holo microglitter. I wore 3 coats plus topcoat.

I'm actually not a huge fan of shard glitter, but Melody used them sooo well in these polishes! They're perfect! I love this shade of teal.  Great formula and application.

Zapped Apple is a neon green jelly with holo shards and holo microglitter. I wore 3 coats plus topcoat.

This is almost my favorite from the Brights trio! It is gorgeous! It's so bright and I love how the glitters really show through . Great formula and application.

Razzmatazz is a vibrant fuchsia jelly with holo shards and holo microglitter. I wore 3 coats plus topcoat.

This is my favorite from the Brights trio. The shade of fuchsia is so vibrant! Great formula and application.

The Neutral Trio

Nekkid Mocha is a light mocha brown jelly with holo shards, holo microglitter, and blue shimmer. I wore 3 coats plus topcoat

A nude with a twist! Love it! You still get all the holo, just with a more subtle base. I think this is perfect for work. Great formula and application.

Licorice Whip is a black jelly with holo microglitter, holo shards. I wore 3 coats plus topcoat.

This is definitely my favorite from the Neutral trio! It is soo pretty! It's like having galaxy nails without all the work. Great formula and application.

Unwrap A Kiss is a light silver/grey jelly with holo shards, holo microglitter. I wore 3 coats plus topcoat.

Great shade of grey! This was a bit on the thicker side for me but still workable!

Overall, I'm loving this collection! There's a great variety! I love the fact that Envy Lacquer created a neutral and bright set for those that aren't found of either brights or neutrals. I'm very impressed by this brand so far because they've really been going all out with their collections. I totally recommend them!

You can purchase these August 1st over at Envy Lacquer's shop! Which one did you guys like?

Alchemy Laquers: Fire Bright Collection

Hey guys! Happy Saturday! What are you guys planning to do this weekend? I'm just going to be swatching away so I'll have lots of post for you all next week. I have another awesome Alchemy Lacquers post today! This time, it's the beautiful neon glitter toppers that I showed you guys yesterday. It's available now, so check out which one is your favorite down below!

The Fire Bright Collection consists of 10 glitter toppers and it was inspired and named after chemicals that you can add to fire to make colored flames. Isn't that cool?! They're all available now at Alchemy Lacquers' shop. This post is very picture heavy so let's get right into the swatches.

Fireworks is a multi neon glitter topper mixed with black hexes of different sizes. I wore 2 thin coats over Essie White Page.

It's like a party in a bottle. Love it, especially the formula, which gave me no issues!

Pyrotechnics is a multi neon glitter topper mixed with white hexes of different sizes. I wore 1 coat over Wet N' Wild Black Cream, all topped off with 1 coat of HK Girl.

I think I kinda like this one more! But I love having both options to play with. Again, great formula and application.

I wore all the following neon glitter toppers over Wet N' Wild Black Cream. Only my pointer finger changed color.

NaCL(Sodium Chloride)is a neon yellow hex glitter topper in a slight cloudy base. I wore 1 coat over Black Cat Lacquer Truffle Shuffle on my pointer finger.

I did a little gradient using all 8 glitters in the collection. Love it!

CuSO₄ (Copper Sulfate) is a neon green hex glitter topper in a slight cloudy base. I wore 1 coat over Black Cat Lacquer Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy! on my pointer finger.

CuCl₂ (Copper Chloride) is a neon blue hex glitter topper in a clear base. I wore 1 coat over Top Shelf Lacquer Appletini on my pointer finger.

KCl (Potassium Chloride) is a purple hex glitter topper in a clear base. I wore 1 coat over Top Shelf Lacquer Pink Cosmopolitan on my pointer finger.

LiCl (Lithium Chloride) is a neon pink hex glitter topper in a clear base. I wore 1 coat over a dry marble using Black Cat Lacquer Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy! and Truffle Shuffle on my pointer finger.

I started swatching this one first but wasn't too sure about it so I changed it up a bit. Still like this one though! I swear, the splatter is orange, yellow, and pink but my camera wouldn't pick up the colors correctly.

SrCl₂ (Strontium Chloride) is a coral hex glitter topper. I wore 1 coat over Black Cat Lacquer Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy! on my pointer finger.

CaCl (Calcium Chloride) is a neon orange hex glitter topper. I wore 1 coat over Top Shelf Lacquer Purple Dragon Martini on my pointer finger.

NaNO₃ (Sodium Nitrate) is a light orange neon hex glitter topper. I wore 1 coat over Black Cat Lacquer Sunburn on my pointer finger.

And here's some nail art I did using the Fire Bright Collection!

I tried to do a dry marble effect and layered a different glitter topper on each finger. Don't know how I feel about this one, but I'm loving my pinky and pointer finger!

Then I did a gradient using LiCl, SrCl₂, and CaCl and used the glitter placement technique to place them over KB Shimmer Alloy Matey.

When Rebecca showed her FB fan group a pic of Pyrotechnics and Fireworks, she mentioned that it looked like an optical illusion. So that inspired me to do a negative space chevron. I LOVE this! I rocked this for a day cause I didn't want to take it off.

And for my favorite, of course I had to do a neon rainbow gradient! So I used all the single colored glitter toppers and did a vertical gradient over black! Love it! And it was so easy to do.

Overall, I really love this collection. It's so bright and fun. You can really do so much with it! These are all available now at Alchemy Lacquers shop! Which one is your favorite?
