Dollish Polish: Don't Be A Square Collection - Swatches & Review

Happy Thursday guys! I hope everyone is having a great week so far, and if it's not, don't worry, the weekend is soon! Today's post consists of an awesome collection! Do you like Pulp Fiction?? Then, this is the collection for you. Dollish Polish has created a beautiful collection called Don't Be A Square! More info down below.

I love Quentin Tarantino movies! Inglorious Bastards, Django, Kill Bill...all such great movies! But Pulp Fiction is definitely my favorite. I don't even know how many times I've seen it. I was really excited for this collection and to see what Dolly came up with. The Don't Be A Square Collection is being released Monday, February 23rd, just click here to purchase! This collection consists of 8 new awesome shades!

Keep Calm & Call The Wolf is a soft dove crelly loaded with varying sized glitters in shades of heather grey, gunmetal, white, and chocolate brown. I used 3 coats with top coat. Doesn't this totally remind you of a wolf?! It's really cool and the colors are spot on. The application was great, it went on really smoothly and you get tons of glitters on you bush, no need to fish anything out.

Pretty Good F*cking Milkshake is a strawberry crelly loaded with matte squares, hex's, and dots in shades of white, orange, green, yellow, and red. I wore 3 coats with topcoat. This is so girly! It's pink and colorful! It's so pretty. Formula and application was great!

Don't Be A Square is a denim blue jelly with micro and medium square glitters in shades of turquoise, navy, royal, and sky blue. I wore 3 coats with top coat. This dries a bit matte, just add a top coat to make it shiny. No complaints on the formula and application.

Royale With Cheese is a dense silver micro glitter, accented with shades of green, orange, red, turquoise, yellow, blue. I used it for a glitter gradient over I Said, God Damn, GOD DAMN!. You can easily get full coverage with two or three coats though. No complaints on formula and application.

Be Cool Honey Bunny is a Lucite green crelly with micro glitters throughout in shades of deep teal, turquoise, magenta, and honey. I wore 2 coats with top coat. I think this is my favorite from the collection. I just love this shade of green and the glitter combo goes so well. The formula and application was awesome, it went on smooth.

English Mother F*cker, Do You Speak It? is a soft rose/berry shade with subtle metallic sheen with a hint of red and pink glass flecks. I used 2 coats with topcoat. I really love this color with my skin tone! LOL Just had to share that. The formula and application was awesome, it went on really smoothly with no pulling! I tried to get a good macro of it but those flecks just didn't want to come out!

I Said, God Damn, GOD DAMN! is a blue-toned lilac creme. I wore 2 coats. This is a bit more purple than it's showing but I couldn't capture the color perfectly. It's so gorgeous though. I'm definitely ready for spring with this shade! No complaints on the formula and application!

Zed's Dead Baby, Zed's Dead is a rich mossy olive green, loaded with green iridescent flakes and micro flakes. I wore 3 coats with topcoat. I think this is one of those colors you either love or hate. Because I love green, this shade is totally perfect! Though the base is green and the flakes are green, the flakes totally do stand out against the base! The formula and application was perfect.

Overall, I'm loving this collection! There's a little something for everyone! From glitter to no glitter to way too much glitter! Wait, there can never be too much glitter LOL! If you haven't tried out Dollish Polish, well then, what are you waiting for?! This collection is being released this Monday, February 23rd! You can purchase them here. Also, make sure to follow Dollish Polish on Facebook, Instagram, TwitterYoutube, Pinterest, and even their own blog!

Twinsie Tuesday: Match Your Nails To Your Purse

Hey guys! I hope everyone's week is starting off great! Today I have another Twinsie Tuesday post and this week's theme is Match Your Nails To Your Purse. Check out what I did for this week's post down below!

So my usual bag is this black Roxy bag that's kind of blah so that definitely didn't inspire me LOL. So I instead chose this bag from Forever 21 that I've had for a while:

I don't use it everyday, but I do use it often. So obviously I had to do some quilted nails! I was actually pretty excited because I've never done that nail art technique. It looks easy, but I had a hard time with it. My lines kept coming out all crooked and unevenly spaces. Let's just say that the picture below is of my third attempt.

I used American Apparel Hassid, which has the most amazing formula. I got full coverage with just one coat but had to apply a second to be able to 'quilt' it. I also used China Glaze De-Light for the glitter gradient. The golden hexes are from the dollar store I think, I don't even remember anymore. This is definitely not my best work so I'll have to give this technique another go soon. I hope you guys liked it though! Make sure to check out what the rest of the girls did down below!

Color Club: Love Tahiry Collection - Swatches & Review

Hey guys! I hope everyone has had a great week. It's Friday, YAY! I'm so happy and totally ready for the weekend. Mostly for Saturday cause, you know, Valentine's Day. I have a surprise for my boyfriend and I hope he really likes it! This year will mark our 6th year anniversary so I'm so happy and excited to that too! Speaking of Valentine's Day, I have a perfect Color Club collection just for the occasion, check out all the details below.

I saw this collection at the ISSE in Long Beach cause I also had no idea about it. Color Club's new Love Tahiry Collection is inspired by Tahiry Jose, a reality star, model, and actress. This whole collection is scented and let me tell you, they smell wonderful! The collection consists of 7 new shades, 5 cremes and 2 glitters. I think it's so perfect for Valentine's Day! The colors are so pretty!

Seal it With A kiss is light pink creme with a strawberry scent. I used 2 coats, no top coat. It's definitely one of my favorite polishes from the collection. The formula is so smooth, and the scent is so yummy. It's not super strong, you kinda have to hold your fingers up against your nose to smell it.

50 Shades Of Love is glitter topper with red and white/ivory hearts in a clear base with a candy scent. Well first off, you really need to fish the glitters out. Second, there's a lot of the clear base so if you're not careful when applying this, you'll have a s*** load of bubbles on your nails. But that's not the worse part, because you can easily just scoop some of them out with the brush and place them where you want. The worse part is that the red hearts are ALL scratched up in the bottle so you can' even use all of the hearts. You have to find a heart that doesn't have any scratches to actually use, unless you don't care about the white lines. On top of that, all of the red coloring that's falling off of the hearts is just floating around in the base. So if you just apply this polish regularly, instead of using glitter placement, then you'll get a bunch of red bits on your nail.

I just don't understand why they would just release this polish like this. I mean, don't they test their polishes? It's funny cause even their promo pictures can be seen with red bits and scratches. Just look closely here. Another thing that I didn't like was that you can't even smell it really because I used glitter placement for my swatch so there isn't a lot of base with it. I wore this over Seal It With A Kiss and KB Shimmer Ice Queen. This look was inspired by Nail That Accent.

Sweet Getaway is bright neon pink creme with a pink rose scent. I wore 2 coats, no top coat. The scent in this is to die for! It smells sooo good! And it's actually pretty strong so just by wearing it, I would get whiffs of it! The formula and application was flawless! So smooth! It's so bright too, my camera was going crazy. I tried to capture it as color accurate as possible. Love it!

Red-Handed is perfect red with a cinnamon scent. I wore 2 coats, no top coat. Red-Handed smelled really delicious too but the scent wasn't too strong. The formula was amazing though, so if you don't have this shade of red, get it!

Tall, Dark, & Handsome is cool grey with a cologne scent. I wore two coats, no top coat. Again, another creme with a flawless formula. I'm not too sure I like the scent. It's perfect for the name and color, but it's a bit too masculine for me. It does smell good and it's not too strong, but I don't know if I want to be smelling that all day.

On Cloud Nine is a white creme with a white chocolate scent. I wore 2 coats, no top coat. This scent was just too sweet for me. I mean I like it, but it was so strong and overwhelming, like even my room smelled like this. Even after I removed it and applied another polish, I could still smell it around my cuticles. If you like sweet smells, then this is for you. No complaints on the formula though, it was so smooth.

Jitters is silver holo and light pink micro glitter with a bubbly scent. I wore 3 coats with top coat. I love, love, love micro glitter polishes! And this is no exception. I like the shade of pink, with the holo, it's just perfect for Valentine's Day! It went on great with no bald spots. I wasn't too sure about the scent though, I think by bubbly they meant kind of like a soapy scent.

No top coat
Overall, I do like this collection. I like that it's scented because I don't have may of those. The formula was amazing except on 50 Shades of Love. (What do you do in this situation? Contact them? I remember when OPI released their Oz collection, they did give refunds for their taco glitter. I don't even know Color Club's email so if you have any info, please let me know down below!) I do recommend getting some of these unless yo already have shades like these or if you don't care for the scented part. These are available for purchase at colorclub.com.

Orly: Sugar High - Swatches & Review

Happy Sunday guys! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. So my Disney plans fell through cause my niece got sick. So I hope she gets better soon. I know she's anxious too cause she's been asking for me to take her since forever. I should have never bought her that annual pass LOL. Just kidding. No, but I really do like going with her, it's weird almost. She's my favorite person to go with because it's almost like seeing Disney through her eyes (She's 7) which reminds me so much of when my parents used to take me when I was a little girl. Plus, she'll go on every ride and won't complain that it's for little kids like my brother or boyfriend do. I'm so excited to take her in May for Disneyland's 60th anniversary! It's gonna be awesome! Anyways, today I have a new Orly collection to share with all of you, check out all the details down below!

I didn't even know about this collection until I went to the ISSE in Long Beach a couple of weeks ago. I saw it and instantly grabbed it so I can share it with all of my awesome readers...and also cause I have no self control LOL. The Sugar High collection consists of 6 new gorgeous shades, 4 cremes and 2 shimmers. The formula was amazing and consistent throughout the 6 shades. Orly is really underrated in my opinion. Their formula is always great and some (not all) colors are really unique!

Frosting is a light vanilla creme with golden shimmer. I used 2 coats with top coat. I know it's not the most unique shade, but it's so pretty! I really liked this one. Great formula too.

Cake Pop is a white pink creme. I used 2 coats with top coat. The shade is very pretty, too light for me personally but it's still nice. I just don't like it with my skin tone. I feel like shades like these are better when they have more of a jelly and sheer formula. The formula was great! It's a bit more pink than in the picture, but against my skin, the camera was making it look almost white!

Candy Shop is a mauve creme with purple undertones. I used 2 coats without top coat. I've always liked this shade of purple. It's not overwhelming but not too blah either. Formula was amazing!

Plum Sugar is a plum creme. I used 2 coats no top coat. Another very pretty purple. I did 1 coat with no topcoat. The formula is amazing, though I could have used another coat cause I didn't even see that bald spot but it's almost perfect!

Sweet Dreams is a grey creme with pearl pink shimmer. I used 2 coats with top coat. I love this one! At first the grey didn't really call my attention all that much but the shimmer is so pretty and it comes through so much in the bottle and on the nails. I couldn't capture it completely though.

Key Lime Twist is a lime green creme. I used 2 coats no top coat. This is definitely the star of the show. It's so pretty! It's so bright and let me tell you, the formula was so smooth and creme. It was great.

Overall, I do like this collection. It's not amazing or all that unique to be honest but the formula was great and I definitely recommend these to anyone who doesn't have shades like these. The Sugar High collection has officially been released so you should see it at a store near you. You can also purchase it at Orly.com. What do yo guys think of this collection?

Morgan Taylor Lacquer: The Cinderella Spring Collection - Swatches & Review

Hey guys! We're so close to Friday, I can feel it! LOL I hope everyone had a great Thursday. What are your plans for this weekend? I will be going to Disneyland on Saturday and Sunday will probably just be my lazy day, do some swatching and watch Netflix. Speaking of Disneyland, I went last Saturday to buy the 60th anniversary LE pin at DCA (yeah I'm a Disney nerd) and they had an exclusive sneak preview of the new Cinderella movie, and OMG! I'm so excited for it now! Watching it inspired me to swatch the new Morgan Taylor collection! Check out all the details down below.

Party At The Palace is a golden iridescent teal creme. I used 2 coats with topcoat. To me, this is definitely the star of the collection. It's absolutely gorgeous. It went on so smoothly. It's a must have!

If The Slipper Fits is light metallic blue with silver holo hexes in different sizes. I used 3 coats with topcoat. To be honest, I was so excited for this one when I saw swatches of it from Morgan Taylor, but I was really disappointed. I just don't like the base, I don't know what it is, but I'm just not a fan.

Best Ball Gown Ever is an iridescent periwinkle. I wore 2 coats with topcoat. I was so excited about this one too! It looks really great in the bottle but I just wasn't a fan of it on my nails. I don't know if maybe it was my application though I didn't do anything different. It's still really pretty and the formula was great on this one too!

My Carriage Awaits is a coral creme. I used 2 coats without topcoat. This one is so pretty! The formula and application was amazing! It's so shiny even without a topcoat.

Watch Your Step, Sister! is a hot pink creme. I used 2 coats without topcoat. Again, the formula and application was amazing. Check out how shiny it is and I didn't even add a top coat! It went on really smoothly. I love how bright this is!

Ella Of A Girl is a light pink creme. I used 2 coats, no topcoat. Another one with great formula! It was so smooth and super shiny.

Overall, I really liked this collection. They're definitely some polishes that are unique to my collection. The cremes are great for someone who doesn't have similar colors cause the formula was fantastic. Which one is your favorite?
