Girly Bits Cosmetics: 80's Girl Bands Collection - Swatches, Review, & Nail Art

Hey girls!! I hope every one's week started off great! Today I have an amazing indie brand, which I'm sure many of you know of, Girly Bits Cosmetics.  Girly Bits Cosmetics is a Canadian vegan indie brand with super unique polishes and amazing formula.  They recently released their new 80's Girl Bands Collection so that's what I'm swatching for you all today!

I have four out of the ten polishes in the 80's Girl Bands Collection plus a misc from the Concert Series Collection.  But let's start with the 80's Girl Bands Collection.

*Descriptions taken from Girly Bits Cosmetics

Conga is a "aqua crelly base with neon pink and white squares, lavender and teal hexes, plus aqua and white dots." I used 3 coats for the pictures below. This is so pretty! I love the glitters, love the base color! It's just perfect. There's tons of glitters in here so make sure to apply it carefully.

Here is some nail art I did using my single chevron nail vinyls by @teismom. I layered Conga over a Teal, Purple, and Pink sponged mani.

Neutron Dance is a "fluorescent pink crelly base with neon pink, yellow and green hexes and squares, accented with silver holo sparks'' I used 3 coats for the pictures below with 2 layers of top coat. I love the bright pink base especially with the green hexes. Formula and application were great but make sure to do thin coats because there is a lot of glitters. With thin coats it will look smoother.

Our lips Are Sealed is a ''fluorescent pink shimmolo (pink holographic with violet and silver shimmer, plus silver holo sparks)'' I used 3 coats for the pictures below with top coat. This polish was so hard to capture, it's so pretty IRL but there is so much going on in the polish that I couldn't capture it all. The holo is way stronger, I'll add a picture in the sun tomorrow.  The formula and application was flawless.

The Power Of Love is a ''lavender holo sprinkled with lavender, sea green and silver holo glitter, plus purple shimmer and sparks of silver holo'' I used 2 coats for the pictures below with top coat. It's a bit sheer on the first coat but it builds up nicely on the second. This polish is so unique! The different glitters are pretty subtle but I like it. The formula and application was great!

And here is some nail art I did using my lightning bolt nail vinyls by @teismom. I layered The Power of Love over Our Lips Are Sealed to create this look.

The next polish is from the Concert Series Collection:

Save Your Scissors is a "lavender crelly base,  with neon pink hexes and squares, lavender, plum, and teal hexes, aqua and white dots plus sparks of silver holo" I used coats for the pictures below.  I love this polish! The combination of glitters goes so well together, especially with that base color. The lavender is a bit opaque so you can't see as many glitters, but you still get a lot on your brush. The formula and application was great!

Overall, I'm in love with this brand! The polishes are amazing! They're so unique and pretty. The formula is pretty great on all of them. I totally recommend checking Girly Bits Cosmetics out, or buying more GBC! lol You definitely won't regret it!
