Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired by Nature

Hey guys! It's Tuesday again so that calls for another Twinsie Tuesday post! This week's prompt is Inspired by Nature. I was really excited for this week's theme cause you can do so much! Check out what I did down below.

Because I'm in So Cal, I decided to do some ocean inspired nails.  I mean, there's so many beautiful beaches around here, it's what California is known for! I saw this beautiful pond mani that @razorbladerose (from instagram) did and I just had to recreate it.  I had actually never heard about this 'pond mani'  technique but it's very easy!

I used OPI Honey Rider for the sand texture, OPI I Can Teal You Like Me for the water and Wet N Wild French White.  I was happy I was finally able to use my Sheer Tints (though I only used one).  Though it was kind of disappointing because it was so stringy.  It was still workable but it's just more of a hassle.

All I did was applied the  'sand'  polish on half of my nail then I applied one coat of the blue polish on the bottom half of my nails. After that, I just sponged on the white polish a bit, then layer the blue polish again, etc, etc.  It's super easy.

I hope you guys like it! Sorry about it being late! Make sure to check out what the rest of the ladies did, just use the links down below!
