Ellison's Organics Nail Lacquer: Let It Go - Swatches, Review, & Nail Art with Simply Spoiled Beauty Nail Art Pens

Hey guys! I just have a quick post for today.  I have a new indie polish brand to show you today! Ellison's Organics Nail Lacquer is a 3 free Lacquer with amazing colors and formula! I actually have more that I'm currently swatching but for right now I'm only showing you a Disney Frozen inspired polish called Let It Go.  Check out all the details below.

Let It Go has a grey/blue base with blue shimmer throughout.  It starts off kinda sheer with the first coat, but I got full coverage with the third coat. The formula was flawless! I love it! It's really pretty and totally reminds me of Frozen.  I wish I was really good at nail art to do something really pretty with this, but I'm not.... ):

But I did do some Snowflakes Nail Art! I used a white Simple Spoiled Beauty nail art pen that I received recently. (You can purchase these nail art pens by clicking here. Make sure to follow Simply Spoiled Beauty on Facebook and instagram.)

And I saw this awesome mani that Kristi from @beginnails on Instagram did and I just had to recreate it using Let It Go. I used some Love, Angeline vinyls to recreate this look. I have yet to create a mani that I'm satisfied with using nail vinyls. I always mess up on them, I don't know why. So sorry about the messiness of this mani, I tried! lol I just need more practice.

I really liked this polish, I think it spot on represents Frozen! Make sure to check out Ellison's Organics, they even released a Doctor Who collection recently!

Let It Go is being released soon! Make sure to come back to get an update on when it will be released. You will be able to purchase it here soon. Also, make sure to follow them on TwitterFacebookinstagram, and/or their blog. You can even sign up for their newsletter by clicking here

Twinsie Tuesday: Sideways French Manicure

Hey guys! It's Tuesday again which means this calls for another Twinsie Tuesday post! This week's prompt is Inspired by Sideways French Manicures.  When I first found out that this was this week's idea, I wasn't too sure what it was.  I actually haven't seen too many of these.  But I surprisingly, I liked how my take on it came out so check out all the details below!

So basically a Sideways French Manicure is just a French mani, but on the side of your nail, not on the tip.  It's pretty straight forward so it was easy to do, the hard part was just choosing the right colors for it.  I decided to use some untrieds, so I picked my KB Shimmer 6th Anniversary Trio! They go so well together!

I painted Shore Thing on pointer and pinky finger, and Beach Please on my middle and ring finger.  I then used some French Manicure vinyls I had from an Orly set I bought a while ago, and applied them vertically and used Hexy Bikini on the sides of each nail.

These vinyls totally saved my life for this mani or else I would have had a really hard time doing the perfect curve (though they're not even that perfect lol).

I loved how this came out! It's super colorful and sparkly. It's very easy to do so you guys should try it!

Thanks for reading and sorry about the picture spam but I really like how these turned out LOL! Make sure to check out what the rest of the girls did down below! Have a great day guys!

CDB Lacquer: LE Fanny Pack Collection - Swatches & Review

Hey guys!! Well the weekend is over. I hope everyone had a great one! I didn't do much this weekend, except swatches and I bought the new China Glaze All Aboard Collection which I'll have swatches of soon! Today, I have a new indie brand, well to me at least, called CDB Lacquer.  I always love featuring new indie brands, it's great to see what everyone comes up with.  Check out the swatches below!

CDB Lacquer is releasing a brand new, limited edition collection called Fanny Pack which is inspired by the 80's!  It's super bright and fun! The Fanny Pack collection consists of 5 new jellies (which most are black light reactive) and it's being released 8/29! Click here to purchase!

Shweet is a neon pink jelly with silver and pink glitters. I used 3 coats for the swatch below. When I first applied it, I thought it was going to stain my nails but it didn't! It was really hard to capture this, it's showing a bit more red than it really is. I love it!

Gnarly is a green jelly with green and gold glitters. I used 4 coats, no undies for the pictures below. This was probably the sheerest of the bunch. Good thing is that it's super jammed packed with glitters so it covered up any VNL showing. I really like it! It went on really smoothly.

Psych is a purple fuchsia jelly with pink and purple glitters. It's definitely my favorite out of the five! I love this shade of purple. Plus, it was definitely the most opaque, I used 3 coats for the pictures below, but I could have used 2 coats. It went on so smoothly and the holo glitter is so sparkly!

Rad is a bright orange jelly with orange and gold glitter throughout. I used 4 coats for the pictures below. It was pretty sheer but it built up nicely. I love how bright this is! And it went on so smoothly.

Tubular has a blue shimmery base with blue and holo glitters throughout. I used 3 coats for the pictures below. The formula was great! It went on very smoothly. This one is the least "neon-y" of the bunch and is the only one that doesn't react under a black light but it's still really pretty.

Overall, I really like this collection! The jellies are really bright, and though they're a bit sheer, they built up nicely. I totally recommend CDB Lacquer! They have awesome crellies and jellies! Make sure to mark your calendars for this collection, it's being released 8/29! Click here to purchase it! Make sure to follow CDB Lacquer on Instagram and Facebook.

Twinsie Tuesday: Classic

Hey guys! It's time for another Twinsie Tuesday post! I'm gonna keep it short and sweet this week. This week's theme is Classic nail art, so check out what I did down below!

I was debating what I should do for this prompt. I guess there's so many ways you can interpret it. I thought, maybe a french tip would be good, especially since I've never done one before but I wasn't that into it. So I decided on a simple black and gold mani. I've always thought of black and gold to be a classic combination. They go so well together.

I used OPI Black Onyx and OPI 50 Years of Style from the new Mustang collection.

I think I should have done thinner lines for the gold, but it still looks kinda nice.

Well I hope you guys liked what I did! Make sure to check out what the rest of the girls did, just use the links below!!

Laquerlicious: Lights, Camera, Action Collection Swatches & Review

Hey guys! I have an awesome collection to show you guys today! Michelle from Laquerlicious has done it again! She released a Hollywood film  inspired collection and it's so pretty! It's colorful and girly. I really loved it, so check out my swatches below!

Her new Lights, Camera, Action collection consists of six new shades! There's wonderful micro glitters, holo glitters, and cremes. There's such a nice variety, I gotta say, I really like this collection! This collection is available for purchase now, just click here.

*All polish descriptions taken from Laquerlicious storefront

Behind The Scenes is a clear base polish with a rainbow of matte micro glitter. I used two thin coats for the pictures below. I'm not gonna lie, the formula was a bit tricky but be patient because it is totally worth it! I just really love this polish, it's definitely my favorite from the collection. It's so unique and pretty and colorful!

Class Act is a clear base polish with white, teal, light blue, neon pink, and pink matte micro glitter. I used two thin coats for the pictures below. The formula was also a bit difficult but totally worth it! I really like this polish as well. It's really unique! I guess I'm just in love with these micro glitters!

Two Thumbs Up is a shimmery bubblegum pink creme base with white, aqua, neon green, neon pink, grey and black matte glitter. I used two coats for the pictures below. The formula and application was great on this one! It went on super smooth. I love it, you can never go wrong with a crelly.

In The Spotlight is a clear base polish with teal, green, magenta, and silver hologram glitter with star, circle, square, and triangle shapes. I used two thin coats over Ellison Organics in Stepping Out With My Baby. The formula and application was great!

Everyone's A Critic is a clear base polish with periwinkle, purple, aqua, neon green, neon yellow, white matte glitters in star, circle, square, and triangle shapes. I used two thin coats over a pink Pipe Dream Polish from their new collection. I really love this one two!

Stage Fright is a polish with a super shimmery blue base with a rainbow mix of matte, metallic, and hologram glitter. I used two thin coats over Bleached Neons Ultra Violet. I LOVE this one! It's another one of my favorites from the new collection! It's very unique, and super packed with glitter. It can be worn alone or over a base like I have it shown here. The formula and application was great!

Overall, I'm in love with this collection! The glitter combinations are so creative and unique. Yes, the formula wasn't as smooth as other Laquerlicious polishes that I've tried, but it's totally worth it! Again, you can purchase this whole collection now by clicking here.

I also have an extra swatch for you from an older Laquerlicious collection, sadly, I don't think this polish is available anymore. I still wanted to share it though cause it's so pretty!

Pool Party After Dark is a beautiful glitter topper with purple, pink, rose pink, blue, teal, and black glitters in different shapes and sizes. I wore this over a white OPI from the new Mustang Collection. The formula and application was amazing! It went on super smooth.

You can purchase these by clicking Here. AND, you can follow Laquerlicious on FacebookInstagram and Twitter.

Alchemy Lacquers: Core Line Polishes + Limited Edition

Hey guys! I have some awesome polishes for you! Rebecca from Alchemy Lacquers is at it again with her amazing polishes! She has added some polishes to her core line, plus, she's releasing a limited edition polish as well. Check out all the polishes down below!

As you may all know, I love all Alchemy Lacquers polishes! They are absolutely amazing and unique. This time, she isn't releasing a collection  (just yet), but instead is adding five new shades to her core line. She is also releasing a very Limited Edition glitter topper called Kitchen Sink!  You can purchase all of these today, just click here!

*All descriptions taken from Alchemy Lacquer's Storefront

Night fire is a ''hot pink jelly with iridescent glitter and blue to pink multi chrome finish.'' I used 3 coats for the pictures below. I absolutely love this polish! It's really gorgeous. And the pink is so bright. The formula and application was great as well!

Delphiniun is a '' blue, purple or blurple jelly nail lacquer with navy blue and purple micro flakies along with shades of blue and iridescent micro glitter.'' I used 3 coats for the pictures below. It was actually pretty sheer on the first coat but it built up really nicely with just the second coat. I really like this polish but it was so hard to capture! There is so much more going on, I just couldn't get it. The formula was slightly thick, but totally workable.

Lilac is a ''warm light purple creme nail lacquer with a very subtle goldish-pink shimmer with shades of purple micro glitter.'' I used 3 coats for the pictures below. This one is so cute! It's subtle, but at the right angle, you can see the beautiful  purple shimmer in it. I really like this shade of purple. The formula and application was amazing! It went on so smoothly!

Forsythia is a '' light pastel yellow creme with golden and iridescent flakies.'' I used 3 coats for the pictures below. OMG, this was so hard to capture! But trust me, there is glitter in there! The glitter doesn't blend in as much as it's showing in the pictures. I really love this! I just wish it would look nicer with my skin tone. I feel like it makes my hands look so orange. The formula and application was great, it was kinda of streaky on the first coat but it evened out nicely.

Gilded Lagoon is a '' turquoise flakie, gold to silver shifting metallic nail lacquer with multi-sized green, blue and turquoise metallic and holographic glitters.'' I used 2 coats for the pictures below. If you read my blog often, you'll know that I absolutely LOVE mermaid or ocean inspired polishes! And of course, when I saw this, I just fell in love with it. It's so gorgeous. It's really unique, and the formula and application was great. I'll definitely have some nail art for it tomorrow! Note: I couldn't capture it that great, there is just so much going on in this, you just have to see it IRL.

Kitchen Sink is a ''multicolored glitter topper. It has green, red, pink, purple, blue, white, black, silver colored glitters in different shapes and sizes.'' I used two coats over Lilac. I really like this glitter topper! It's so colorful and fun. You get so much glitter on your brush, and it goes on so smooth. This is a limited edition polish, so get it now before it sells out!

Overall, I really love these polishes. I mean, to me they're just so creative! Rebecca is so creative! Get some Alchemy Lacquers now! Click here to purchase these today! Make sure to follow Alchemy Lacquers on Facebook and Instagram
