Twinsie Tuesday: Skittles Nail Art

Hey guys! Tuesday again, meaning another Twinsie Tuesday post! This week's prompt is Skittles! I had so many ideas for this, but I got caught up with some stuff today that I ran out of time. I'm trying to go to sleep earlier because I'm literally running on about 5-6 hours of sleep everyday because of painting my nails so late. I'm trying to catch up on my swatches but just knowing how much I have to do makes me lazy lol Does that happen to anyone?? Anyways check out what I did down below!

Because I started late, I decided to do some fairly easy skittle nails and it worked out perfectly actually! I had actually thought about doing something else but it was going to be way more time consuming. For some reason I thought about my new Color Club Poptastic Remix Collection and how perfect they would be for this prompt! I mean they're so colorful already! So that's what I used instead.



Here is what I used as my base (in order of the picture):

• Essie Strut Your Stuff
• Essie Vices Versa
• Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Lightning
• Color Club Poptastic

And I used the new Color Club Poptastic Remix Collection (in order of the picture):

• Daydream Believer
• Go-Go Green
• Woodstock or Bust
• My Generation

I basically just found colors that matched the glitters and layered a different color on each nail. In this mani, I layered Go-Go Green over Sally Hansen Lightning, Daydream Believer over Essie Vices Versa, Woodstock or Burst over  Color Club Poptastic, and My Generation over Essie Strut Your Stuff.

I'm not sure how much I like it. I thought it looked so cool in my head, like it was going to be really colorful, but that's not how it came out. I think it's because of the color combinations that I chose to layer them over. I'm glad I used some untrieds though! I have to start tackling that pile!

I'll definitely try to remake this mani, maybe it'll come out better. Regardless, make sure to check out what the rest of the girls did cause they' always make some awesome stuff, I promise!
