Above The Curve: Summer Destinations 2014 - Swatches & Review

Lo Hey guys! How's every one's weekend going? I hope great! Today I have an amazing indie brand to show you! Above The Curve Nail Polish has beautiful polishes and they're behind an amazing cause.  They donate $1 of EVERY polish sold to Shriner's Hospital for Children and help raise awareness for Scoliosis.  I mean, how generous is that?!

Above The Curve Nail Polish is releasing their new Summer collection called Summer Destinations 2014. This collection consists of four beautiful jellies. These are available now, check out ATC's storefront to purchase.  

Myrtle Beach is a awesome bright pink jelly with bright fine and small holo gitters, fine blue iridescent glitter, rainbow flakes and a light dusting of holo pigment. This one also dries matte. I'd say that this is my favorite from the four. It's so much brighter than the picture. I used two coats for the pictures below. The first swatch is without a top coat, and the second is with a top coat.

Venice Beach is a bright orange jelly with bright fine and small holo glitters, fine orange to gold iridescent glitter, rainbow shimmer flakes, and a light dusting of holo pigment. This one also dries matte.  I tried to capture it as color accurately as possible but I couldn't.  It's so much brighter. I used two coats with for the pictures below. The first swatch is without a top coat, and the second is with a top coat.

And here's some nail art I did using both Myrtle Beach and Venice Beach:

Coney Island is a gorgeous purple jelly with bright holo glitters, small color shifting glitter that shifts from red to blue to gold to violet, rainbow shimmer flakes, and a light dusting of holo pigment.  I used 2 coats for the swatches below.  This one also dries matte.  I think this is second favorite out of the four!  The shade of purple is so pretty! The first swatch is without a top coat, and the second is with a top coat.

Santa Cruz Beach is a beautiful cobalt bright blue jelly with bright fine holo glitters, fine color shifting glitter that shifts from blue to violet to red to green, rainbow shimmer flakes, and light dusting of holo pigment.  I used 2 coats for the swatches below.  This one also dries matte. 

And here's some nail art I did using most of the collection. I've never done Ikat nail art before so sorry for them being kinda messy. Hope you guys like it!

I absolutely love this collection.  The formula and application on all of them is great.  They're a bit sheer with the first coat but it builds up wonderfully with just a second coat. I totally recommend Above The Curve Nail Polish.  I mean why wouldn't you want to wear a beautiful polish and also be helping a cause?
