I was initially trying to do two colors but I found that difficult so I found this awesome tutorial from Lucy's Stash and I thought I'd give it a try. I was going to use white nail polish for the flowers but every tutorial that I found, they would always use acrylic paint so I don't know if the one stroke technique only works with acrylic paint, but I just used it just in case.
I used Color Club Miss Bliss as the base. This probably would have looked a bit better if I would have taken a sun shot but I didn't have time to.
I think my brush was partially at fault. I don't really have a good flat brush, so the bristles didn't really work with me. Plus in case you haven't noticed, my nails broke over the weekend so that was a lot harder to work with since they're so short now. But overall, I just suck at this lol. Regardless, check out what the rest of the ladies did cause they always do amazing work.

They're very fluffy-looking being just one color! I like them!
ReplyDeleteAt least you tried! I didn't even attempt this. lol
ReplyDeleteIts still looks pretty nice, like white fluffy flowers! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others!!!! Fluffy flowers. They're lovely!
ReplyDeleteI like how you used a holo base; the white really pops!
ReplyDeleteThese are totally cute! They may not be exactly what you intended, but they really are adorable. Awesome pairing, with the Halo Hue as well!
