Trust Fund Beauty: Hamptons Collection- Swatches, Review, & Nail Art with Simply Spoiled Beauty Nail Art Pens

Hey guys! Happy 4th of July! I hope you guys have a great day! Stay safe though!

Today, I have a new indie brand called Trust Fund Beauty . I have part of their Hampton's Collection, which is made up of eight polishes, but I only have two. The packaging is so cute! The polishes came in these pretty boxes. You can take a look at their polishes by clicking here.

Pool Boy Toy. 2 coats.  This is a periwinkle blue with silver shimmer throughout. I love this color! It's probably not the most unique color, but it's very pretty! It was almost opaque in one coat, but I added another coat to even it out. The formula and application was great. I had a hard time capturing the true color of this polish. It's a bit more periwinkle, and less baby blue if that makes sense.

Hampton Hookup. 3 coats. I'm not gonna lie, this polish is kinda weird. In the bottle, it looks like a fuchsia pink. It almost, looks a bit red, but still pink. Like this:

And then I applied it to my nail. On the first coat, within the first few seconds it was still pink. And once it started drying, it started getting redder and redder. I was like "am I going crazy?" lol cause I thought maybe it was my lighting but no, even the next day it still looked like that. I even asked my boyfriend and he agreed it was red so I'm not crazy! lol I also thought that it might be a thermal polish and run my fingers under cold water but nothing happened. So shall I say this is a bright red jelly with pink undertones? I guess I should. It dries into a matte jelly. The application was great though, opaque in 2 coats. Regardless, I like the color, but obviously you want the color you purchased, not a surprise color.

You can purchase these polishes for $15 CAN each by clicking here. Also make sure to follow Trust Fund Beauty on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

I mean, though the color changes, it's still pretty and the formula is pretty great on these polishes so I decided to do some nail art using one of the nail art pens that Simply Spoiled Beauty sent me to review. These pens are so easy to work with. They seriously make your life easier. Just apply where you want the polish to be and there, you're done! They're great because they come with a little striping brush when you unscrew the cap and a pen tip under the plastic cap.  Here's what they look like:

And it comes with a thin pin thing inside the pen tip like so:

I don't know if other girls through it out, but I left it in so it won't clog. And here's the striping brush:

Overall, I really like this nail art pen. I still have other pens to go through, but I'll post all of them on my blog when I use them. The pens are slightly sensitive to any squeezing, so make sure to be careful when you're doing nail art or else a bunch is gonna come out. Eventually you'll get the hang of it.

So I decided to do some leopard print nail art. Here's what I did:

I hope you guys liked what I did! You can purchase these by clicking here. Make sure to follow Simply Spoiled Beauty on Facebook and instagram.

Again Happy 4th of July!
