Cinema Swatch Lacquers: That's A Wrap- Review & Nail Art

Hey guys! Today I have an amazing product by Cinema Swatch Lacquers! It's called That's A Wrap (what a clever name by the way) and it's liquid nail tape. I'm sure many of you have seen it around and if you don't own it, let me tell you, you need it!! Check out all the info down below.

That's A Wrap is a liquid latex that helps you with an amazingly easy cleanup around your nails. Cinema Swatch Lacquers is selling it in 2 sizes, a 6 ml mini bottle and a 10 ml bottle. You can use this for easy cleanup after stamping, doing gradients, even painting your nails. The best part is that you can also watermarble while having it on your fingers, so it works even after getting wet.
Another awesome feature is that it's ammonia free and contains aloe so it doesn't dry your skin. Though please be aware that it does contain a latex derivative. So if you have any sensitivity towards latex, don't use it and if you're unsure, test a really small spot on your skin. And allow it to dry to see if it does cause any irritation.

I don't have a video tutorial but I do have pictures! You first want to prep your nail before applying it, like removing any oils or lotions from your nails and apply (if desired) your base coat. Just wipe your nail with a cotton ball with nail polish remover. Also, please excuse my stained nails, this is my swatch hand and we'll, you know how that is.

After you've prepped your nail, apply a small amount around your nail, even under it! Make sure not to cover your nail though cause it might come off when you pull off the rest of it. Don't apply too much at first, instead, slowly build up depending on desired amount. I'm doing a gradient so I applied this much. Make sure to allow it to dry before applying any nail polish, which doesn't take too long.

I do have to say that the smell was a bit strong. It didn't bother me though cause my nose isn't sensitive but it did kinda have a strong smell if it was too close. I know some people have a pretty sensitive nose, so they might not like it. To be honest, I'm not sure if the other liquid nail tapes also have this smell, this is the first one I've used.

I was inspired by The Polished Mommy for the gradient I did today. She used the most perfect  colors that I just had to do it! I sponged China Glaze (top to bottom) Pack Lightly, Wanderlust, and Dashboard Dreamer, all of which are part of the new China Glaze Road Trip Collection!

Please don't judge my gradient skills! I'm still not that good lol. As you can see, this would have required a lot of cleanup...

But it's so easy with That's A Wrap! Once I was done with my gradient, I used my tweezers to slowly remove it. As you can see, there's still some left but that's because I applied it too thin around the edges. But it was still so easy to remove.

Here's the finished gradient!

After I finished the gradient, I added the same details as The Polished Mommy because her mani is so pretty! I just used black acrylic paint for the details.

I hope you guys like it! It was actually pretty easy to do.

Overall, I love this product! It's so easy to use and it's truly a lifesaver. I'm sure a lot of you have seen the Liquid Palisade liquid nail tape, but that thing is $22 and it's so small! Cinema Swatch Lacquers is selling it for only $8! Yeah, way better price!

You can purchase That's A Wrap by clicking here. Make sure to follow Cinema Swatch Lacquers on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Twinsie Tuesday: Monochromatic Nails

Hey guys! It's Tuesday again so I have another Twinsie Tuesday post. This week's theme was monochromatic nails. Check out what I did down below!

I'm not gonna lie, I was really confused as to what monochromatic nails were. I thought, why don't they just call it ombre nails? But I guess there is a difference but to be honest, I'm still not sure lol. I hope I did monochromatic nails! If not, please let me know in the comments below.

So, to my understanding, monochromatic is when you use various shades of the same color. So I chose this coral/pink color. For the colors I used (light to dark): China Glaze Spring In My Step, Pack Lightly, More To Explore, and Morgan Taylor My Carriage Awaits.

I swear, I feel like I picked the worse color scheme I couldn't have, because my camera couldn't really capture the transition between each color. It just basically looks like it goes straight from light to dark. Yeah, this was a total nail fail for me. Here's the gradient on its own.

Then I added a coat of black polish (Wet N Wild Black Creme) over the gradient while using some @teismom straight lines Nail Vinyls

I really hope you guys like what I did, make sure to check out what the rest of the girl did down below. Come back next Tuesday to see what's next week's theme.

Jindie Nails: Massive Swatch Post

Hey guys! It's almost the weekend! I'm feeling pretty good about this week. I almost managed to write a post everyday! I already have tomorrow's post written up and I hope you guys like it! Anyways, I think too much time has passed without some Jindie Nails swatches so I'm happy to be sharing this massive swatch post! It includes new and old polishes, even some unreleased ones! Check out all the pictures below!

Let's get right into the pictures cause there's a lot! I'll be doing the new shades first which are currently not available for purchase but I will update you soon when I know.

Holiday Hugs is a beautiful green glitter polish packed with a bunch of different glitters. It has green, mint, red, white and gold glitters in hexes, stars, bars, and dots, all in a gold shimmer. I wore 3 coats on its own with topcoat, but you can wear it as a glitter topper with one thin coat. This is so pretty and perfect for the holidays! The formula and application was great.

Stompin' Gilbert Grapes is a slightly nude crelly base polish with pastel hexes in different sizes in lavender, green, light pink, pink, rose pink, Tiffany blue, and pistachio green. I wore 3 coats in the pictures below with topcoat. I love this! This glitter combo is so pretty and girly. I actually really like that it's not a white base, but more of a nude base. The formula and application was great.

sTEALth is a blue teal jelly polish that dries to a matte finish. It has blue and green iridescent glitters with blue shimmer running through out. I wore 3 coats. I was scared this was gonna stain my nails but it didn't! The formula and application was great!

Betty's Fetti Milkshake is a white crelly base polish with ultra-fine, micro hex glitters in opaque pastels and transparent neon hexes. It is filled with colorful glitters ranging from pink to black to teal! Basically any color you can think of. This polish was inspired by funfetti cookies. I used 3 coats with topcoat. This is actually pretty glitter heavy but it went on so smoothly and didn't have any bald spots. I absolutely love this polish! I don't know why I really like micro glitters, I just do.

You Can't Turn A Ho-Lo Into A Housewife is a multi chrome and linear holographic polish. The most vibrant color is the blue/purple shimmer. This was part of the winter/holiday season for 2013. I wore 2 coats for the pictures below with no topcoat. I absolutely love this polish! I couldn't capture the holo as much but it's there, trust me! Plus it went on super smoothly, like butter!

Candy Land Remix is a white crelly based polish with extra small, small, medium, large, and extra large neon hex glitters in blue, green, pink, purple, orange, and yellow. I love that it's sheer enough to show all the layers and see the glitters through the base but opaque enough to not show vnl. I used 3 coats with topcoat. I can't believe I've waited this long to purchase this one! It's so pretty and colorful! I actually have an older version of Candy Land (not the remix one) in a regular circular bottle, not like the ones Jindie Nails uses now, I'll have to swatch it soon.

Phone, Keys, Polish, Check! Is a pink fuchsia polish with glitter, micro glitter, holo, and  shimmer. I used 2 coats with topcoat. This is so gorgeous! There's so much going on in it that my camera couldn't focus lol. The formula is just so smooth. I could have used one coat to be honest. It looks like something that would stain your nails but it didn't! It's just perfection! And in case you want the same thing but in a different color, check out the next polish...

The Blue That Holds Us Together is a complex blue jelly polish loaded with several shimmers, color shifting pigments, blue to green colored glitters in matte, metallic, and holo finish. It's basically the same thing as Phone, Keys, Polish, Check! buuut you STILL need it! The formula was also amazing, I only used two coats with topcoat. You'll love it,  trust me! Just get it.

Hex On The Beach Is a sheer white crelly based polish with matte, opaque baby pink, peach, red, orange, pastel yellow and canary yellow dots, diamonds and hexes. It also has metallic copper and light pink dots and hexes throughout a gorgeous peach shimmer. I used 3 coats with no undies with topcoat. I've been eyeing this one since I started buying Jindie Nails but I don't know why I didn't. It's so pretty. I just love the combination of glitters! Make sure to do thin coats so the glitters don't drag.

Footprints In The Snow is a baby blue crelly with bright blue micro shimmer/flakes, baby blue matte small hex, maroon matte dots and metallic small hex, and gold dots and hexes. I used 3 coats  with topcoat. This is also another one that I've been eyeing because of some nail art I saw which I recreated. Just click here to see it!

Water 4 Elephants is medium gray crelly base polish with multiple sizes of metallic and holo hex glitters in blue and green plus iridescent blue/green hex and square glitters and color shifting shimmering pigment. I used 2 coats with top coat. This is another classic Jindie I think, I just had to have it. It's inspired by the movie and book which are Jen's favorite! And, it was super easy to apply.

Dancing With The Stars is a super fun glitter topper with black, white, hot pink, baby pink, holo silver, and gray glitters in hexes, diamonds, stars, dots, bars, a few hearts and butterflies. I wore 2 thin coats over a blue China Glaze. I love it, I love it, I love it! Glitter toppers are always so fun and colorful. This wasn't at all hard to apply, I grabbed tons of glitters on my brush.

You might not like all of these, but there has got to be something that you like, trust me you're gonna love them! You can purchase them at Jindie Nails. You can get more information of Jindie Nails by following them on instagramFacebookPinterest, and twitter .
