Hey guys! Wow I kind of disappeared there. Recently, I've been keeping busy with other things in life and so I haven't had much time to blog, but I'll make another post about that another day. Today, I have the Addicted to Holos October box and let me tell you, it's gorgeous! Check out all the details below!
As many of you know, The Addicted to Holos indie box is a bi-monthly, all holographic box featuring five awesome indie brands including: Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer, Literary Lacquers, Philly Loves Lacquer, Sweet Heart Polish, and The Polish Bar. Like always, the box will be available for preorder for a whole week starting 10/5/2015 to 10/12/2015 at Addicted to Holos' shop. All boxes start shipping out within two weeks. And of course, all items are limited edition and will not be available for purchase outside of the box.
Phoenix in Her Blood by Literary Lacquers is a black cherry linear holo inspired by Shakespeare's Sonnet XIX. I wore 3 thin coats with no topcoat.
What an absolutely stunning polish. It's so perfect for fall. Like all Literary Lacquers' polishes, the formula and application was perfect.
Purple Mist by The Polish Bar is a medium purple linear holographic with tiny pewter holographic glitter. I wore 3 thin coats.
I'm really loving this shade of purple! It's not too bright, but not too dark. I think it's a great transitioning polish from those bright polishes we have gotten used because of summer. Great formula and application.
Sepulcher by the Sea by Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer is a mint jelly linear holo with gold and pink glass flecks. I wore 2 thin formulas with a coat of topcoat.
Julie never fails with her creations. I love everything about this polish! The mint shade is just perfection.
Sugar & Spice by Sweet Heart Polish is a warm brown linear holographic with a pink flash and copper holographic glitter. I wore 2 thin coats.
I gotta say, this is my favorite polish from the box. I was quite surprised to be honest. I never really go for browns since I'm always drawn to brighter colors but this one is just gorgeous. And I love all the extra details that were added in, it really makes it unique.
Taisteal Sabhailte by Philly Loves Lacquer is a coralesque orange linear holo with gold flash and copper shimmer. I wore 2 thin coats with topcoat.
And to round it all off, a gorgeous orange. This really ties in the box I think. It's perfect for fall! The formula and application was great, it went on really smoothly.
Overall, I really enjoyed this box! I think it has something for everyone. All the polishes had a great formula and application. You won't be disappointed!
