Jindie Nails: Soul, Funk, & Disco Collelction

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a great start to their week! This weekend was so busy for me. I had lots of family activities for Mother's Day. It was so much fun. What did you guys do for Mother's Day? Today I have an awesome collection by one of my favorite indie brands, Jindie Nails that is! Jen has created a great collection called Soul, Funk, & Disco inspired by Jen's favorite type of music, R&B/ Hip Hop and Dance music. Each polish is inspired by a different song! Check out all the details below!

This whole collection is available for purchase now! You can purchase it here. There's a total of 8 new shades in the Soul, Funk, & Disco Collection, but I only have 6 to show you. This post will be pretty picture heavy so let's get to it!

I previously swatched the following polish a while ago and this what I had to say then:

Baby Love, My Baby Love is a sheer light pink/peach with pink, gold, silver, light pink, red, glitters in dots, hexes, diamonds, and squares in different sizes and with golden shimmer throughout. I wore 3 coats for the pictures below. OMG, this is just crazy gorgeous! The base color is so pretty! Depending on what angle you look at your nails while wearing this, it looks really pink, or almost see through. Plus the glitter in this is really unique, they all go so well together.

Freeway Of Love is described by Jindie Nails as a "very bright, neon pink crelly, loaded with just about every color of matte pastel glitter you can think of, plus several colors and sizes of dots in holographic, matte, and metallic. It has diamonds in matte and holographic, intense purple/blue shimmer plus at least 5 or 6 other color shifting shimmers."

It was inspired by Freeway Of Love by Aretha Franklin and her pink Cadillac. I wore 3 coats with a top coat for the pictures below. The formula was a bit thick but nothing to worry about because it's still quite easy to apply. Plus with all those glitters in there, it's totally understandable!

She's A Brick House is described by Jindie Nails as a super squishy "burnt orange jelly, loaded with orange, red, gold, and silver metallic and holographic circles, hex, and shimmer."

It was inspired by Brick House by The Commodores. I wore 3 coats with a top coat. This was super easy to apply! I didn't get any pulling and the large dots basically grab on to the brush because they're really easy to catch. It's kinda weird though because this reminds me of soda for some reason. I think it would have been perfect in the OPI Coca-Cola Collection, is it just me or what? LOL

Super Freak'n Neon is a neon glitter topper described by Jindie Nails as a "polish that has small, metallic silver hex glitters and 6 different neon colors including pink, purple, green, orange, yellow, and blue, all in a clear, matte suspension base. The shapes of glitters include small matte hex, matte squares."

It was inspired by Super Freak by Rick James. I wore 1 coat over Top Shelf Lacquer (which I'll have swatches of this week BTW) Teal-Tini. This went on really smoothly and evenly. I had no issues at all.

My Old Piano is described by Jindie Nails as "an un-dupable polish. It has pastel small glitters in hex, medium dots, diamonds, tiny stars, triangles, circles, small dots, short/micro bars (very sparse amount of bars, stars, butterflies, hearts, and butterflies). There are neon yellow, pink, and green hearts, diamonds, stars, and daisy's. It also has some transparent neon hexes. It also has an array of black and white glitters in small and medium rectangles (to represent the piano keys.)

It's inspired by My Old Piano by Diana Ross. I wore 3 thin coats with two coats of top coat. I did have some issues with this one. I think because of all the glitter, the formula was a bit on the thicker side. I had to redo a nail or two but doing thin coats fixed the problem. Just make sure not to grab too much glitters or else it clumps up on your nails. I always love a fun white crelly though!

Shake Your Groove Thang is described by Jindie Nails as a "coral/rose pink scattered linear holo with red flecks"

This is inspired by Shake Your Groove Thing by Peaches & Herb. To me, it's a bit more red pink then coral as Jen described it. I wore one coat, yeah that's right, ONE coat with a top coat. Omg, this formula is flawless, just pure perfection. It was so pigmented and went on so smoothly. And, there was no staining! Great job on this one Jen!

The other polishes in this collection are I'll Stay A Lime, I'm Rick James, B****, Psychedelic Shack. Overall, I'm really liking this collection. So much glitter everywhere! These are all available for purchase now! Just click here to purchase. You can get more information of Jindie Nails by following them on instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and twitter .

What did you guys think? Which one was your favorite?

Twinsie Tuesday: Jelly Sandwich

Hey guys! Happy Tuesday! I have an exciting Twinsie Tuesday post today! This week's theme is Jelly Sandwich. I love doing jelly sandwich nail art! They're super easy to do, and there's endless combinations. Check out what I did down below!

At first, I was gonna do a brighter combination but I really liked the colorful glitter against a nude so I ended up choosing OPI Act Your Beige! as my base and Jindie Nails Dream In Color.

I did 3 coats of OPI Act Your Beige! with one thin coat of Jindie Nails Dream In Color.

Then I added one coat OPI Act Your Beige (without topcoat)!

And another really thin coat of Jindie Nails Dream In Color.

I really like how it ended up looking. Plus it was really easy to do!

Check out what the rest of the girls did down below and have a great day!

Reverie Nail Lacquer: Spring 2015 Collection Part I - Swatches & Review

Hey guys! Happy Sunday! What is everyone up to? Today I have an amazing collection to show you, well half actually cause the rest is in route to me! I have swatched Reverie Nail Lacquer a few times before. I loved her polishes so much when I swatch them that I purchase from Reverie all the time! Michelle's creations are to die for. It's almost as if she's creating these for me specifically. Check out what I'm talking about down below.

Reverie Nail Lacquer's Spring Collection consists of 6 new shades, but today I only have 3 to show you! Her collection is available for purchase now, just click here.

Sunshowers is a pale blue-grey creme with subtle scattered holographic sparkle, gold shimmer, blue iridescent glitters. I wore 3 coats with top coat. Everything about this polish is perfect! The shade of blue, the light holo dust, and those iridescent glitters! Perfect for spring. Great formula too.

Honeycomb is a rose gold micro glitterbomb with tiny purple iridescent glitters. I wore 3 coats with top coat. Though these iridescent glitters are small, they make this polish so pretty and unique! I couldn't really tell they were in there until I started applying this to my nail. I couldn't stop starting at my nails. Perfect formula and application too.

Aubergine is a deep plum jelly full of gold shimmer, iridescence, and blue and purple shades of hex and dot glitter. I wore 3 coats with a top coat. This is definitely my favorite out of the three. Those large iridescent hex glitters are to die for. Yeah, you can tell I love this one with the endless amount of pictures lol. Great formula too, by the way.

Macro shot with no topcoat.

I think it's pretty obvious that I really enjoyed this collection. Reverie Nail Lacquer is for sure becoming one of my favorite brands of indie polish. Which one did you guys like?

These are all available to purchase now, just click here. You can follow Reverie Nail Lacquer on Facebook and Instagram.

Leesha's Lacquer: Mother's Day Collection - Swatches & Review

Hey guys! Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I have some family events this weekend, including watching the Avengers for the second time LOL! It was so good though! Did you guys watch it already? What did you think? Anyways, Mother's Day is just around the corner and I have the perfect collection for all the mom's out there! Check out all the details below!

Leesha's Lacquer, a new to me brand, is releasing a beautiful nude holo collection. This is something my mom would really like cause she ain't crazy about them neons LOL. This is also perfect for those working moms that can't wear bright colors to work.  The collection consists of 5 new polishes ranging from a creme to a jelly formula.

Blushing Bride is a light pink with holo dust and a creme formula. I wore 3 coats. I think because of how light it is, I couldn't capture the sparkle all too well. The formula was a bit patchy, but totally workable.

Mauve Over is a mauve pink with holo dust. I wore 3 coats. The formula was great on this one! It went on really smoothly. I love how it has pink undertones too. A favorite of mine.

Cinnamon Sparkle is medium dark brown jelly. I wore 3 coats. If you think Mauve Over is too light, this is the next color up. So pretty.

Macchiato is a nude polish with holo dust and a jelly formula. I wore 3 coats. I have to say this is probably my favorite out of the bunch. I think it goes really well with my skintone. Plus it was super easy to apply!

French Vanilla is a light nude creme polish holo dust. I wore 3 coats. I had a hard time applying this. It kind of pulled a little bit. So just wait a bit longer for the previous coat to dry before applying the next. For some reason, I couldn't take a macro or bottle shot of this. My camera wouldn't focus.

Overall, I was pleased with the range of nudes. I think there's something for everyone. You should definitely give Leesha's Lacquer a try! These are being released May 4th, but they're already available for preorder now! You can purchase them here. Make sure to follow Leesha's Lacquer on Facebook, Blog , Google Plus, and Instagram.
