So the collection consists of four new polishes, a holo, a jelly, a glitter topper, and a shimmer. The Legends Collection is being released August 18th! Click here to purchase them!
Hypnotize is a black jelly with gold shimmer and scattered holo through out it. I used 3 coats for the pictures below. This polish is inspired by The Notorious BIG. I absolutely love this one! It's so gorgeous and the formula went on really smooth. It's definitely my favorite from the collection. The holo is actually pretty strong, and the gold shimmer makes it really unique. The formula and application was amazing.
It's a bit blurry to show the holo. |
And here is some galaxy inspired nail art I dis using Hypnotize as my base. Hope you guys like it!
Next Episode is a black jelly with green hexes in different sizes. I used 3 coats for the picture below. This one is inspired by Dr. Dre! This one is so squishy! I really like it. i thought it was going to be really sheer but it built up really nicely. The formula and application was good!
Street Dreams is a gold metallic polish with gold holo throughout. I used 3 coats for the pictures below. This polish is inspired by Nas. It was so hard to capture all the holo goodness. It's so pretty! The formula and application was great!
And here is a gradient I did using OPI Onyx as my base. I saw a tutorial that @Kgrdnr made to make this look.
Killuminati is a black and white glitter topper with iridescent hexes. I used two thin coats over a random grey. This one is inspired by Tupac. You can never go wrong with a black and white glitter topper! I really like this one! The formula and application was great! I didn't have to fish for any glitters.
Overall, I'm pretty impressed by this collection. I love what Jessica was able to find inspiration from! I haven't seen a collection being inspired by hip-hop legends! It's really unique, plus the formula and application was amazing. I totally recommend checking Jonesy Lou Lacquer out, you won't be disappointed!
Really nice swatches and nail art! I like Killuminati the most here.
